Creating a Diverse Workplace Series, Equate Scotland

The following comes from Equate Scotland, who make a positive difference to women studying, entering or working in STEM.

We are excited to announce our Creating a Diverse Workplace Series.  In this pilot we want to work with six STEM organisations in Scotland to help take action on equality and inclusiveness in the workplace by helping them create a holistic ED&I strategy that will have a ‘whole’ organisation approach to gender equality in STEM. This series will offer three online training sessions to three staff from each company (skills to reduce inequalities, inclusive recruitment and positive action) and will end with two tailored and organisation specific consultancy sessions. This free series will also provide networking opportunities as well as space to share challenges and best practice.

If you are a STEM organisation with 50-250 employees and an annual turnover of under £40 million or you are a provider of STEM courses who can demonstrate gender imbalance in your workforce or applications and you are keen to tackle Equality and Diversity inequalities please get in touch. This programme is completely cost free to the organisations who sign up. If this is something your organisation might be interested in please contact our Training and Development Manager Laura Smith-Gulliver at L.Smith-Gulliver@napier.ac.uk.
